UV400 vs polarised: what’s the difference?
One protects your eyes, the other helps you see comfortably. Here’s why both matter.

UV400 means the lens blocks all ultraviolet light up to 400 nm. That’s about health: UV exposure raises the risk of cataracts and retinal damage.
Polarisation filters horizontal glare reflected from water, snow and wet roads. Colours look crisper and your eyes tire less — ideal for drivers and anglers.
Which one?
UV400 is a must in every pair of sunglasses. Polarisation is about comfort; note that it can make some phone screens harder to read.
